Festival Season has Arrived!

Among the many parks, outdoor pools and patios you can enjoy throughout our summer months, you will also find a variety of fun filled festivals in Edmonton. Recently, our city hosted the annual International Street Performers Festival, which entertained friends and family alike from July 8th to the 17th. It was held in the heart of down town at Winston Churchill Square.

Street Performers is a ten day, all access, all ages show that reveals the art of street performance. The artists involved are carefully hand selected by the event producer who invites only the best street acts from around the world to perform. You will find several interactive characters, circle shows, children's acts and a place for aspiring, local artists to share their talents.

Acts that are featured may include: jugglers, magicians, musicians, stilt walkers, clowns, catapult, cabbage catchers, aerialists, comedians, dancers, balancers, tight rope, slack rope, comedy troupes, street theatre artists, mime, roving comedians, living statues, installations, characters, circus acts, and fire eaters.
